What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 3pm on Sunday, and check-out is at 9am on Sunday.
What should I bring?
We do supply all linens, towels, wash cloths, beach towels, life preservers, and firewood.
While we have tried to provide most everything you might need for a relaxed stay, you will need to provide food for your stay, personal items you need to make your stay the best possible. The nearest full grocery store, Marketplace Foods, is under 20 minutes away in Rice Lake. A smaller grocery store is in Birchwood, 5 miles away.

Can I bring my boat/canoe?
Yes, you can launch your own boat at the launch next door, and you are free to launch your own kayak/canoe off one of our docks. Otherwise we have free kayaks, paddle boards, canoes and a paddleboat for our guests to use. You can even use a 14’ Lund boat to do some fishing.
Do you have life jackets for boating and swimming?
Yes, we have lifejackets available for use during your stay. We also have paddles and supplies for boating or water sport activities, including floaties and more.
Is the fishing good in the Red Cedar Lake and surrounding areas?
Yes, the fish are there, both in summer and during the ice fishing season. You can catch fish right off of one of our 3 docks. Visit the lake overview and details HERE.
Are pets allowed?
No. Our policy is to keep our lakehome and surrounding 1 ½ acres clean for guests.
Do you have Wi-fi?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi available.
Is there any firewood available?
Firewood is free for guests for use in the outdoor firepit.
What is your cancellation policy?
$1,000 Deposit to secure your reservation.
Balance due 90 days prior to reservation start date.
Cancel prior to 90 days of your reservation – Full refund, less a $300 administrative fee.
Less than 90 days prior to reservation, no refund unless another guest chooses to stay the week you reserved.
